These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website redcarpetrestaurant.in and all services offered by Red Carpet Restaurant & Lounge ("Red Carpet", "we", "us", or "our"), located at NRB City Mall, Six Mile, Guwahati, Assam, India.
By visiting our website, making a reservation, placing an order, or using any of our services — including our bar and lounge, wine locker, bottle service, or wishlist ordering — you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Red Carpet. We recommend you read them carefully before proceeding. For any queries, contact us at the details provided in Section 15.

Eligibility
By using our website or services, you represent and warrant that:
- You are at least 18 years of age. Access to our bar and lounge services, and consumption of alcohol, is restricted to guests who are 21 years of age or older, in compliance with the Assam Excise Act and applicable regulations.
- You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under Indian law.
- You are accessing our services for lawful purposes only.
- All information you provide to us — including reservation details, contact information, and payment data — is accurate and truthful.
Red Carpet reserves the right to refuse service or access to any individual who does not meet these eligibility requirements or who violates these Terms.
Use of the Website
Our website is provided for informational purposes and to facilitate reservations and orders. You agree to use it only in accordance with these Terms and applicable law.
Permitted use
- Browsing menu information, restaurant features, and promotions.
- Making table reservations and online orders.
- Contacting us with genuine enquiries or feedback.
Prohibited use
- Attempting to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website or our systems.
- Scraping, crawling, or harvesting data from the website without our written consent.
- Submitting false, misleading, or fraudulent reservations or orders.
- Transmitting any harmful code, viruses, or malicious software.
- Using the website in a manner that could damage, disable, or impair its proper functioning.
- Reproducing, distributing, or commercially exploiting any content from the website without our prior written consent.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any user who violates these provisions.
Table Reservations
Reservations may be made through our website, by phone, or via authorised third-party platforms. By making a reservation, you agree to the following:
- Reservations are subject to availability and are confirmed only upon receipt of a confirmation message from Red Carpet.
- Please arrive within 15 minutes of your reserved time. We may release your table if you arrive later, without prior notice, especially during peak hours.
- Reservation details (name, contact number, party size, special requests) must be accurate. Red Carpet bears no liability for any loss arising from incorrect information provided by the guest.
- For large group bookings (8 or more guests), we may require advance notice of at least 48 hours and may request a refundable deposit.
- Red Carpet reserves the right to decline or modify reservations at its discretion, including during private events, full-capacity situations, or circumstances beyond our control.
Special occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries, or corporate events may require advance arrangement. Please contact us directly to discuss décor, customised menus, or other arrangements.
Online Ordering & Payments
We offer online ordering and reservation payment functionality through our website. All transactions are processed securely via Razorpay, a licensed payment aggregator regulated by the Reserve Bank of India.
- By placing an order or making a payment, you authorise Red Carpet and Razorpay to process the transaction on your behalf.
- You are responsible for ensuring that your payment information is accurate and that sufficient funds or credit are available.
- Red Carpet does not store your full card details. Payment data is handled exclusively by Razorpay in accordance with PCI-DSS standards.
- An order is confirmed only upon successful payment and a confirmation acknowledgement from Red Carpet.
- In the event of a payment failure or technical error, please contact us before reattempting. Red Carpet is not liable for duplicate charges resulting from multiple attempts without verification.
Red Carpet will never contact you by phone, SMS, or email requesting your OTP, PIN, or full card details. If you receive such a request claiming to be from us, please treat it as fraudulent and notify us immediately.
Pricing & Menu
All prices displayed on our website and in-restaurant menu are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
- Prices are subject to change without prior notice. Menu prices at the time of ordering shall apply.
- Government taxes (GST), service charges, or other statutory levies may be added at the point of billing as applicable under Indian law.
- Menu items, including seasonal or signature dishes, may be subject to availability. Red Carpet reserves the right to substitute an unavailable item with a comparable alternative or offer a refund.
- Add-on prices (e.g., Egg, Chicken, Shrimp additions) are charged separately and are clearly indicated on the menu.
- Promotional pricing and discounts are valid for specified periods only and cannot be combined unless explicitly stated.
Cancellations & Refunds
Reservations
- You may cancel or modify a reservation at no charge up to 2 hours before the reserved time by contacting us directly.
- No-shows or cancellations made with less than 2 hours' notice may result in forfeiture of any advance deposit paid.
- For large group or private event bookings, cancellation policies agreed upon at the time of booking shall apply.
Online orders & payments
- Once an online order has been confirmed and preparation has begun, cancellations are not accepted.
- Refunds for valid cancellations, payment errors, or duplicate charges will be processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, subject to Razorpay's processing timelines.
- Refund requests due to quality concerns or service issues must be raised at the restaurant on the day of dining. Red Carpet reserves the right to investigate and resolve such complaints at its discretion.
Refunds are not provided for subjective dissatisfaction with taste or preparation style where the dish was prepared in accordance with our menu description. We nonetheless encourage all feedback so we can continue to improve.
Dining Conduct & House Rules
Red Carpet is committed to providing a premium, cinematic fine-dining experience for all guests. To maintain this standard, all guests are expected to observe the following:
- Dress code: Smart casual or formal attire is encouraged. The management reserves the right to decline entry to guests dressed in a manner deemed inappropriate for the fine-dining environment.
- Conduct: Disruptive, aggressive, or disrespectful behaviour towards staff or other guests will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the premises without refund.
- Noise levels: Loud music, recording equipment, or any activity that disrupts the dining experience of other guests is prohibited without prior approval from management.
- Photography & filming: Personal photography is permitted for personal, non-commercial use. Commercial photography, filming, or live streaming requires prior written consent from Red Carpet management.
- Outside food & beverages: Guests may not bring outside food or beverages onto the premises, except for special occasion cakes arranged in advance with management approval (a plating charge may apply).
- Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited within the restaurant premises in accordance with the Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products Act (COTPA), 2003.
- Pets: Animals are not permitted on the premises, except for certified service/assistance animals.
- Children: We welcome families. Parents and guardians are responsible for the conduct and safety of children in their care at all times.
Red Carpet management reserves the right to modify or add house rules at any time without prior notice.
Bar, Lounge & Alcohol Policy
Red Carpet operates a licensed bar and lounge and serves premium liquors, in-house signature cocktails, and celebratory wines. The following conditions apply:
- Legal drinking age: The purchase or consumption of alcohol is strictly restricted to guests who are 21 years of age or older. Valid government-issued photo identification (Aadhaar, Passport, Driving Licence) may be requested before service.
- Red Carpet reserves the right to refuse alcohol service to any guest who appears to be intoxicated, disruptive, or unable to consume responsibly.
- The service of alcohol is governed by our liquor licence issued under the Assam Excise Act. Operating hours for the bar are subject to the conditions of that licence and applicable local regulations.
- Red Carpet does not encourage excessive consumption of alcohol. We urge guests to drink responsibly and arrange safe onward transport.
- Red Carpet shall not be held liable for any incident, injury, or damage arising from a guest's conduct following alcohol consumption on our premises.
Drink and drive is illegal under Section 185 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988. Please arrange a designated driver or use a cab service after consuming alcohol at our establishment.
Bottle Service & Wine Locker
Bottle service
- Premium bottle service is available and must be arranged in advance with our team.
- All bottles served are sourced from our licensed inventory. Guests may not bring their own spirits or wines onto the premises unless agreed as part of a wine locker arrangement.
- Bottle service is subject to availability and applicable excise regulations.
Wine locker (safe-keep facility)
- Our exclusive Wine Locker Facility allows guests to store personal wine collections in a secure, climate-controlled space accessible to the account holder only.
- Use of the Wine Locker is subject to a separate agreement, terms of which will be provided at the time of enrolment, including storage fees, access protocols, and duration.
- Red Carpet takes reasonable care to maintain stored bottles in optimal conditions but shall not be liable for deterioration caused by factors beyond our control (e.g., power failure, manufacturer defect, natural disaster).
- Unclaimed bottles after the agreed storage period will be subject to disposal or auction following written notice to the account holder.
- All bottles stored must comply with applicable excise law. Red Carpet reserves the right to refuse storage of any item that violates such regulations.
Wishlist & Special Orders
Red Carpet offers personalised wishlist ordering, allowing guests to request bespoke off-menu creations. The following terms apply:
- Wishlist orders must be submitted at least 24–48 hours in advance to allow for sourcing and preparation. Last-minute requests may not be accommodated.
- Our culinary team will confirm feasibility and pricing before finalising your order. Acceptance is at the discretion of the kitchen.
- Special orders are non-refundable once confirmed and prepared, as they involve dedicated sourcing and preparation effort.
- Red Carpet cannot guarantee exact replication of dishes seen on third-party platforms or social media. Our team will apply their expertise to honour the spirit of the request.
- Any allergy or dietary information relevant to your special order must be declared at the time of request. Red Carpet will take reasonable care but cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.
Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including but not limited to the Red Carpet name, logo, taglines, menu descriptions, photographs, videos, design elements, and written content — is the exclusive property of Red Carpet Restaurant & Lounge or its licensors and is protected under applicable Indian intellectual property laws.
- You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, republish, or commercially exploit any content from this website without our prior written consent.
- Linking to our website for non-commercial purposes is permitted, provided it does not suggest endorsement or affiliation without our consent.
- Any feedback, reviews, or suggestions you submit to us may be used by Red Carpet at our discretion without obligation to you.
- User-generated content posted publicly on our social media pages (Instagram, Facebook) remains your property, but by posting you grant Red Carpet a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to share or feature it in our promotional materials, with attribution where practical.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted under applicable Indian law, Red Carpet Restaurant & Lounge shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the website or our services.
- Loss or damage to personal belongings left unattended on our premises. Guests are solely responsible for the safety of their personal property.
- Any allergic reactions or dietary-related incidents where accurate and complete allergen information was not disclosed to us at the time of ordering.
- Service interruptions caused by circumstances beyond our control, including power outages, natural disasters, government restrictions, or force majeure events.
- Third-party website content, services, or privacy practices, including those of Razorpay, Google, Meta, or any other platform linked from our website.
- Inaccuracies on the website that we are not aware of and correct promptly upon notification.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of our services shall not exceed the amount actually paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Red Carpet Restaurant & Lounge, its promoter, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to:
- Your violation of these Terms or any applicable law or regulation.
- False, inaccurate, or misleading information provided by you in connection with a reservation, order, or service request.
- Your conduct on our premises or in connection with our services.
- Any claims made by third parties arising from your actions while using our services.
Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. The courts of Guwahati, Assam shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of our services.
Dispute resolution
- In the event of a dispute, we encourage you to contact us first so that we may attempt to resolve the matter amicably within 30 days.
- If informal resolution is not achieved, disputes may be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with the seat of arbitration in Guwahati, Assam, conducted in the English language.
- Nothing in this clause limits your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable Indian consumer protection laws.
Consumer grievances may also be escalated to the appropriate Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
